After the disappointment of Saturday’s Scottish Cup trip to Ayrshire, it’s back to league business for our first fixture in September as we host Penicuik Athletic at Millfield on Tuesday, 2 September (7.30pm kick off).
It was a win apiece between the two sides last season and so a closely fought encounter can be anticipated. Penicuik earned a 1-0 win the last meeting between the two sides at Millfield in March. The Hi Hi’s had won the previous match between the two sides 2-0 in August 2024.
Penicuik were also defeated in the Scottish Cup on Saturday, losing 2-4 at home to Kilwinning Rangers.
