Next up in our fixture schedule is our Scottish Junior Cup fourth round tie in Ayrshire against the competition's 2014 winners Hurlford United - everyone at Millfield's keenly anticipating the challenge, and to crossing paths with the oppisition for the very first time. This week's weather forecast isn't too encouraging, but we'll hope Blair Park's playable this Saturday - whether or not that proves the case, our very grateful thanks go out to Alba Trees and Rodney Shearer, who've shown tremendous generosity in sponsoring the bus in which we'll travel. Alba have their HQ not too far from us at Lower Winton, just south of Gladsmuir, and have established themselves as the UK's largest producer of cell grown plants - it's our pleasure to be associated with them.

More on the Hurlford tie later in the week, in the meantime thank you very much Alba for your much-appreciated gesture.

Our friends at Haddington Bowling Club have kindly made their premises available on 4 February, when the afternoon will be hosted by arguably one of the Lothians' top speakers, Eric Davidson, who we've had the pleasure of welcoming to Haddington once or twice previously. It promises to be a great day - tickets are just £5 from any committee member, or drop us a message here. ... See MoreSee Less
