After a first round bye and narrowly overcoming Dunbar United and Knightswood in the previous two rounds, Haddington Athletic welcome Glasgow United to Millfield on Saturday for a South Challenge Cup tie.
Until 2021 Glasgow United, formed in 1903, were known as Shettleston Juniors. The Greenfield Park side currently play in the Third Division of the West of Scotland League.
The visitors reached this stage after an excellent 2-1 away win against Drumchapel United – Drumchapel currently play three tiers above them.
Given our own challenging recent cup experiences against Kilsyth Athletic and Knightswood, we know very well indeed we will face a stern test today to progress to the last 16.
The match kicks off at 2.30pm at Millfield on Saturday, 15 November.
