Haddington Athletic came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against Glenrothes in the first match of the new Premier Division season at Millfield on Saturday.

Following a tight first half, the visitors opened the scoring on 57 minutes courtesy of McManus following a rapid break forward after the Glens’ defence had been under threat. But we were back on level terms 12 minutes later, with Tom Davies getting a touch on the ball after a dangerous Liam Kelly corner found the back of the net.

The Hi Hi’s enjoyed a fair bit of late pressure after the visitors’ Muirhead was red carded late on, but the desired winner eluded Scott Bonar’s side, who are back in action this Tuesday eevening at Newtongrange Star.
