After the previous week’s 2-1 Premier Division win at New Countess Park, Haddington Athletic found themselves up against Dunbar United for a second successive Saturday on 13 September.
On this occasion, it was the Hi Hi’s turn to host their neighbours in a South Challenge Cup Second Round tie. In a thrilling match, the Hi Hi’s eventually won 4-3 to progress to the next round, having surrendered an initial 2-0 lead by half time.
Our next match, on Saturday 20 September, will see us resume Premier Division business with the visit of Hutchison Vale.
