Preparations are being made this week for our trip to Midlothian on Saturday 23 August for a Scottish Cup Second Preliminary Round tie against Dalkeith Thistle.
It’s a first as our ninth tie in the competition pits us against Lothians opposition for the first time – it’s a market town derby if you like, Midlothian hosting East Lothian, all of 15 miles separating Millfield and King’s Park.
We’re greatly looking forward to the match and hopeful of a good run in this year’s competition. The match kicks off at 3pm and we are hopeful of a good Hi Hi’s following to support Scott Bonar’s side.
