On a sunny Saturday, the Hi Hi’s travelled to the capital to take on Edinburgh South in our latest Premier Division fixture.
We took the lead 20 minutes into the match when Grant Rose prodded the ball into the net following a corner. Our lead proved short-lived when the hosts equalised just four minutes later through McManus. We thought we had re-taken the lead through Grant a short while later, only to see the the offside flag raised. Cammy Graham also came close from a well-struck free kick.
After a scrappy opening period, we re-took the lead on 55 minutes when Lewis Walker finished superbly following a through ball from Cammy Graham. It was enough to secure a valuable three points, bouncing back well from the previous week’s disappointment in Fife.
We return to action this Saturday (7 November) when we host Penicuik Athletic at Millfield (14:30).
