Over 160 clubs entered the biggest cup competition outside of the SPFL. Having failed in eight attempts prior to this season to make it past the last 64, we are delighted to have reached the Quarter Final stage thanks to a first round bye followed by home wins against Dunbar United, Knightswood and Glasgow United, and in the fifth round a 3-0 win away to Leith Athletic.
Our reward for reaching the last eight is a match against Muirkirk Juniors who currently occupy a midtable spot in the West Of Scotland League’s second tier following promotion last May. The tie is scheduled to be played on Saturday 31 January in East Ayrshire.
