The Hi Hi’s picked up three hard fought points in a tough match at Glenrothes last Saturday. On a strength sapping surface, Haddington came out on top by three goals to two. There was little in it in the first half but an own goal saw the visitors ahead at the break. The game burst into action midway through the second half when two quick goals for the home side saw them move ahead. The HiHi’s responded well and two quick goals saw them regain the lead which they never relinquished. Fraser Patterson headed the equalsier before Gavin Brown scored the winner with a 20 yard effort that took a slight deflection on its way in. Results elsewhere saw Haddington move into second place behind Musselburgh.
