The recent draw for the first round of the Scottish Cup saw the Hi Hi’s drawn to play Deveronvale from the Highland League in Banff on Saturday, 18th September with a 3.00pm kick off. Haddington’s Scottish Cup exploits last season were ended on Boxing Day when another Highland League club, Formartine United, were narrow 2 – 1 winners in a tight Boxing Day match at Millfield. Manager Scott Bonar and his players will make the long trip north on Friday, 17th September, to give themselves the best possible chance against a team two tiers above them in the pyramid.
