The Hi Hi’s face a tough ninety minutes on Saturday when they travel to Perth to meet third placed Jeanfield Swifts in a Premier Division match. Although they won a cup tie at the Riverside Stadium a few years ago, Haddington have still to register a league win at this ground. Tomorrow will be a really good time to do that! Manager Scott Bonar should have Lucas McGarry fully fit and both Gary Windram and Brandyn Neil are available again after missing the Penicuik match. Seamus Russell has been sidelined since suffering an injury in a friendly against Spartans a few weeks ago, but he is back in training although maybe still a couple of weeks away from returning to the matchday squad. Ali Simpson has been plagued with injuries lately and he too is likely to miss out on Saturday. Recent signing Lewis Inglis from Preston Athletic made his debut last week and retains his place in the squad.
Jeanfield’s league challenge has faltered in recent weeks but they are still a very good side and recorded an impressive 4-1 win at Millfield earlier in the season. They will be favourites to take the points.
