Haddington face a stiff test at Millfield on Saturday when third place Dunipace visit Millfield in a Conference A match. Up until last Saturday, the Denny side were the only team to take points from the Hi Hi’s this season following a goalless draw at Westfield Park on the first day of the season. Dunipace have been in great form in recent weeks and although they trail Haddington by nine points, they have a game in hand and they will see tomorrow as an opportunity to get right back in the championship race. Conversely it’s an opportunity for Haddington to dent Dunipace’s league challenge. The home side will have to be more clinical than they were last week against St Andrews when they squandered several good chances to put the game to bed and were caught by a sucker punch right at the end.
Once again a good crowd is expected at Millfield and both teams will find the Millfield playing surface in immaculate condition for this time of year. Haddington complete a run of five successive home matches the following Saturday when they entertain Conference B leaders Glenrothes in a King Cup tie.
