A week of sub zero temperatures meant that the news that Millfield was unplayable for the Premier Division match against Sauchie last Saturday, was hardly a surprise. With clubs given permission to call off their games on Friday if there was no prospect of play, groundsman John Henderson made the call. Manager Scott Bonar’s side will meet Whitehill Welfare in a friendly fixture at Whittingehame Drive on Thursday 22nd December with an 8.00pm kick off. The Haddington manager is keen to keep his players ticking over before their next competitive fixture, which is a derby match against Musselburgh Athletic at Olive Bank on Friday 30th December, kick off 7.30pm.
