Following the resignation of manager Joe Hamill, Millfield officials moved quickly to appoint Scott Bonar as manager. He had been first team coach at Haddington for the past three seasons. Club officials were delighted that he turned down the opportunity to move to Olive Bank. Scott has a wealth of experience, and has had a lot of success at youth level with Portobello Boys Club. It is no coincidence that there are a lot of promising young players at Millfield and the Hi Hi’s are confident that the improvements in performances will continue under Scott’s leadership.
