After what must have been one of the shortest close seasons ever, The Hi Hi’s were back in pre season action just over a month since their League Cup final extra time defeat to Sauchie on 1st June. Last Saturday, West of Scotland side Neilston Juniors, visited Millfield in a pre season friendly. The first meeting between the sides since 2017 when Haddington won a Scottish Junior Cup tie by two goals to one at the same venue. On this this occasion it was the visitors who came out on top thanks to two first half goals. The home side had chances to reduce the deficit in the second half but Neilston defended well and kept a clean sheet.
