Haddington manager Joe Hamill was left shell shocked as he saw his side slump to defeat against Hawick Royal Albert in an Inter Conference game at Volunteer Park, the temporary home of the Borders side. The Hi Hi’s made a few changes to their recognised line up but they never got to grips with the conditions and two goals for the home side in a five minute spell in the first half, gave them an unexpected three points. The Hi Hi’s will face a sterner test at Millfield on Saturday when they meet Heriot Watt in a Conference A match. Both sides have seen their promotion hopes dashed in recent weeks but both sides will be keen to get a much needed win.
