The Hi Hi’s held their annual Player of the Year Awards in Haddington Bowling Club last Sunday afternoon. A bumper attendance enjoyed a Race Day before the awards were presented. For the the first time there was a Management Team Award which went to the entire playing squad for their efforts in a record breaking season, which culminated in winning Conference A and promotion to the East of Scotland Premier League tier 6 in Scottish Football. Only five games were lost out of forty seven and two of these were to clubs two tiers above. The Player’s Player of the Year went to Guy McGarry and the Committee and Season Ticketholders Player of the Year was awarded to Ross King.
