History will be made at Millfield tomorrow evening when the first floodlit match takes place at Millfield. The floodlights were installed by the clubs’ main sponsor, JBEMS, earlier this year. JBEMS pulled out all of the stops to get the lights installed and working, just in time for the SFA’s Licensing Committee meeting in February, but when Co-vid brought a premature end to last season they were never used. The Hi Hi’s meet Craigroyston in a Conference A match tomorrow but unfortunately no spectators will be allowed in to watch this milestone match. The club have arranged for the game to be filmed so that there will be a permanent record of the occasion.
