The Hi Hi’s picked up their first win since January when they beat Dunipace at Denny last Saturday. Haddington had a strong wind at their backs in the first half but had to wait until the closing minutes of the half before taking the lead. Andy Jones turning in a low cross from Gordon Harris. The lead was extended in the 58th minute when Gary Nicholson scored from close range. The visitors were in control and looked to be heading for a big win when Jones hit his second of the afternoon in the 68th minute. However almost immediately slack defending presented Dunipace with a penalty and Dymock gave his side a lifeline. The Hi Hi’s had a similar claim for a penalty dismissed before Quinn hit the post from close range. Dymock scored a second with a header from a corner in the 88th minute to set up an interesting finish but the Hi Hi’s secured all three points.
