The Hi Hi’s have a couple of interesting Premier Division matches coming up. On Saturday they face league leaders, Broxburn Athletic, at Albyn Park, and, after a short Christmas break, they play their last game of 2023 when they entertain county rivals, Dunbar United, at Millfield on Saturday 30th December.
Broxburn are certainly setting the pace at the top of the Premier Division and they have been in impressive form this season. When the sides met under the Millfield lights in October, the West Lothian side scored the only goal of the game and were probably a bit fortunate to take all three points. The home side will be firm favourites on Saturday, but will be tested by a Haddington side that would have taken some confidence from last weeks’ performance. Once again manager Scott Bonar will be without both Mikey Robertson and Mark McGovern but Ross King is nearing full fitness after a few weeks on the sidelines.
