Hi Hi’s suffer second successive home defeat

The Hi Hi’s entertained Sauchie in a Premier League match at Millfield last Saturday with the home side determined to avenge their League Cup final defeat back in May. The three meetings last season were all decided by the odd goal and another close encounter was forecast. That looked to be on the cards again when the first half finished goalless, although Sauchie had looked the likelier side. However it only took the visitors minutes to break the deadlock in the second half when they profited from a defensive mistake. From then on there looked to be only one winner and the Clackmannanshire side added two more goals to run out winners by three goals to nil. All in all a disappointing afternoon for the home side who rarely looked like scoring.
