Haddington comfortably collected three points from their league match against Glenrothes at a sun drenched Millfield last Saturday. A third minute header from Declan Quinn put the home side ahead and it was mostly one way traffic as the Fifers struggled after having to play two midweek games. Quinn increased the Hi Hi’s lead just after the half hour mark and he collected his first hat trick in junior football when he converted a penalty kick in the 61st minute. With Fauldhouse losing at champions Musselburgh, Haddington are only three points behind the West Lothian side in the battle for second place. The Hi Hi’s entertain Arniston Rangers at Millfield this Wednesday before travelling to Dundee on Saturday to meet Downfield.
