The Hi Hi’s travelled to play Leith Athletic at Peffermill last Saturday and what looked like could have been a tense occasion a few weeks ago, turned into a carnival occasion for the Haddington supporters. The Hi Hi’s have been consistently winning matches since their reversal to Leith at Millfield in February, whilst their city rivals have fallen away in recent weeks. The title was won at Kennoway on 7th May so it was a relaxed Haddington side that easily won by three goals to nil in some style. For the record the goalscorers were Guy McGarry, Dylan Tait, and Zach Szemis (penalty).
It was been some season for the Hi Hi’s with the team suffering only five defeats in almost fifty matches.
