After almost 80 years playing junior football, the Hi Hi’s made their senior debut in a East of Scotland League Cup tie at Home Park, Coldstream last Saturday. Three first half goals from Jordan Cropley and Scott Moffat (2) gave Joe Hamill’s side a comfortable lead at the interval. Things looked ominous for the home side when Declan Quinn added a fourth in the 47th minute but Coldstream’s youngsters never gave up and took full advantage of some slack defending to score two quick goals. Andy Jones scored a fifth before the Streamers completed the scoring minutes from time. Haddington now turn their attention to Heriot Watt when they meet the students at Riccarton on Tuesday.
