The Hi Hi’s open their third East of Scotland Premiership campaign with a home match against Glenrothes at Millfield this coming Saturday, kick off 2.30pm. A tough pre-season schedule yielded no wins but Haddington pitched themselves against some tough opposition. It will be no different tomorrow when Glenrothes provide the opposition in the opening league game. The Hi Hi’s took maximum points against the Fifers last season, winning 1-0 in Fife at the end of September, before hitting seven without reply at Millfield in April, when an early red card proved fatal for the Fifers. All of this is history and what’s important is what happens at Millfield on Saturday. Both sides will be keen to get off to a winning start and there will be changes in personnel in both camps. A close contest is in prospect.
