The Hi Hi’s recorded their biggest ever Premier Division win when they hit Glenrothes for seven at Millfield last Saturday. The Fifers are in the midst of the relegation battle, only having stepped up last season, and their cause wasn’t helpedĀ when defender Blair Smart was ordered off in the 18th minute having been deemed guilty of a last man handling offence. The home side took full advantage and goals from Gabri Auriemma and Tom Davies gave them a two goal lead at the interval. It was virtually one way traffic in the second half and Ross King soon made it three with a precise 30 yard finish after the Glens goalkeeper was caught in no mans land. The goals kept coming at regular intervals with sponsor’s Man of the Match, Tom Davies, adding three more and substitute Riley Haston netting with a thirty yard free kick.
