The Hi Hi’s make their second trip of the week to Fife tomorrow when they play Dundonald Bluebell at Moorside Park in Cardenden. A win for the Hi Hi’s would guarantee them a second successive top half finish as they look to establish themselves in the top tier of the East of Scotland League. However it won’t be easy as they’ve yet to beat the Bluebell this season. An understrength Haddington side surrendered a half time lead in a cup tie there back in February, and when the sides met at Millfield in a league match back in March, the points were shared.
Haddington will be hoping for a Fife double having won at Crossgates on Tuesday, and defender Lucas McGarry returns to the squad after missing the match in midweek. Although this will be their last league game, Haddington still have a League Cup quarter final to look forward to. This match against Tuesday’s opponents, Crossgates Primrose, takes place at Millfield on Saturday 18th May.
