Haddington’s last league match against Kirkcaldy and Dysart proved to be a tough test for the Hi Hi’s and they face a similar challenge on Saturday when they cross the Forth to play Kennoway Star Hearts at Treaton Park in Star. Despite a good start to the season, Kennoway are fighting for a top seven finish to ensure a place in the new First Division next season and they will be difficult opponents. Last Saturday they won 8 – 0 against Craigroyston and they will want to take that form into Saturday’s fixture.

Everyone at Millfield is aware of the importance of tomorrows match as the Hi Hi’s have the title firmly in their sights. They are currently five points clear of nearest challengers Leith Athletic with three league games still to play, however they are aware that any slip could let Leith pip them at the post. Manager Scott Bonar will no doubt field his strongest side but he still as several players out with injury. Last Saturday a much changed Haddington side lost 1 – 0 in the League Cup at Premier League challengers Penicuik Athletic.
