Haddington extended their unbeaten start to the season when they overcame a potentially tricky fixture in Fife against Rosyth last Saturday. Two early goals from Gabri Auriemma and Seamus Russell gave the visitors the perfect start but Rosyth gave themselves hope when they broke away to reduce the deficit. Shaun Hill then restored the Hi Hi’s two goal advantage with an outrageous free kick from fully 30 yards. The only goal in the second half came from skipper Auriemma who completed the scoring in what turned out to be a comfortable 4 – 1 win.

The Hi Hi’s are at home on Saturday when Tweedmouth Rangers provide the opposition in a Conference A fixture which kicks off at 2.30pm. The home side’s recent exploits should ensure that there is another good crowd to cheer them on at Millfield.
