Haddington and Civil service Strollers had never met competitively until their recent East of Scotland Qualifying Cup match at Marine Drive. The Hi Hi’s upset the odds by beating their Lowland League opponents by two goals to one, now less than two weeks later, the clubs meet again in the South Challenge Cup, this time at Millfield. The Edinburgh side will be to gain some revenge and once again Haddington will have to be at their best to match their tier 5 opponents.

Manager Scott Bonar will again be without no fewer than five key players as Nick Aitchison is added to the four that were unavailable last Saturday. So this will be a test for the Millfiled squad as they battle against the likes of Conrad Balatoni who has SPFL experience with both Hearts and Partick Thistle. Civil have an experienced squad and are dangerous on the flanks but they will find Millfield a bit tighter than their pitch at Marine Drive.

This tie should provide some good entertainment and another ig crowd is expected at Millfield.
