The Hi Hi’s won a hard earned point on a another difficult surface when they met Tynecastle at Meggetland last Saturday. These sides had last met on Matchday 2 at Millfield back in August when Tynecastle won by two goals to nil. The Capital side were keen to record a league double and that looked a distinct possibility when they moved ahead in the 12th minute. However the visitors were soon back on level terms, Tom Davies scoring his first goal for the club with a spectacular 25 yard free kick. Haddington continued to create some good chances and Alex McNaughton, Robbie Peffers, and Guy McGarry all came close. McGarry also hit the bar. However Tynecastle posed their own threat and goalkeeper Cornet pulled off a couple of good saves to keep his side level. Defender Corey Robertson was unfortunate to pick up two yellow cards in the closing stages and he will miss this week’s match.
