The Hi Hi’s played their first match since March when they met Premier League Penicuik Athletic in a closed door friendly at Penicuik Park last night. The match was played under the strict protocols that are in place at the moment with players turning up ready to play. The home side scored the only goal of the first half and could have added another but for a good penalty save from goalkeeper Cornet. Manager Joe Hamill made no fewer than seven changes at the interval and young Robbie King finished off a good solo run when he netted with a well placed shot. Penicuik edged the second half and a long range effort gave them a narrow win.
