The Hi Hi’s have prime position in the forthcoming Groundhop weekend which features four matches in East Lothian on Saturday. Haddington meet Dundonald Bluebell at Millfield with a slightly earlier kick off at 2.00pm. Over 200 Groundhoppers – non league football supporters – from all over the UK will travel from the earlier match at Dunbar for what should be another interesting Premier Division match. So if last weeks attendance is anything to go by then Millfield will house its biggest attendance of the season.
When the sides met in Fife in September, an understrength Haddington side upset the odds by coming from a goal down to win by two goals to one. Dundonald are always a hard team to beat and, like Sauchie, last week will be tough opponents.
Manager Scott Bonar will again be challenging his players to prove that they can match the more experienced team in this league and there’s also that unbeaten run to protect.
