Disappointing news from Berwickshire this morning means we’ve to wait another week to begin the second half of our Conference B campaign. Apparently Eyemouth’s Warner Park home requires, at Berwickshire council’s insistence, a tall net erected at every home game to prevent balls flying into adjacent properties. High winds this morning are said to have made the task of putting the net up too dangerous – essentially the game’s been put off on health and safety grounds.

Obviously frustrates our hopes of adding another six points to our current tally before the end of the year, but there should be no issues with next Saturday’s game at Dunipace going ahead as scheduled.
