Haddington are due to visit Dundonald Bluebell in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup at Moorside Park in Cardenden on Saturday. This match has already been postponed on three occasions with the Hi Hi’s travelling to Fife, one of these, only to see the match referee call the game off. The forecast looks a bit better and both sides will be hoping that the game goes ahead, with a home tie against Dunbar United, awaiting the winners. Dundonald had an impressive win at Inverkeithing last Saturday while Haddington threw away a winning lead against Hill of Beath, so the Bluebell will be favourites to progress. Manager Scott Bonar will be without several players, new signing Tom Davies is already cup tied and several players are nursing injuries. Some good news for the Haddington team boss is that Mark McGovern, out since September, made his return for part of the Under 20s match against Leith last Friday and scored on his return.
