The difficult games just keep coming for Haddington when they make the short trip to Musselburgh tomorrow to meet championship favourites, Musselburgh Athletic, at Olive Bank. After a promising start when they won their opening three league matches, two successive home defeats against Jeanfield Swifts and Sauchie have taken the gloss of the three wins. Haddington face an even tougher challenge tomorrow and the players will want to put on a better performance against their county rivals. Burgh took the bragging rights last season with a 2-1 win at Millfield and a 4-2 win at Olive Bank in a match that saw the Hi Hi’s lead twice. Manager Scott Bonar will be without skipper Nick Aitchison and striker Grant Rose. The latter has been missing witha hamstring injury but hopes to be fit for the Scottish Cup tie against Auchinleck. His physical presence was certainly missed last Saturday.
