Millfield has housed some good crowds since the return of spectators to football, and another bumper crowd is expected this Saturday when the Hi Hi’s entertain neighbours Dunbar United in the first round of the South Challenge Cup. The Seasiders will start as favourites courtesy of their Premier League ranking but the home side will be eager to preserve their unbeaten record. Both sides have important Scottish Cup ties the following week but this will be forgotten when the game gets underway. Millfield regulars will recognise a few former Hi His in the United ranks with Andy Jones, Michael Fairnie and Bob Berry wearing Dunbar colours. The Millfield crowd will also be entertained by youngsters from Haddington Athletic’s Youth section before the match and also at the interval.
