Haddington expect to have their biggest crowd of the season when they meet neighbours Dunbar United in an East of Scotland Premier Division match at Millfield this Saturday, 30th December. Dunbar are enjoying life back in EOS’s top tier and sit in 5th position, two places above the Hi Hi’s, with four points more. Sandwiched in between are county rivals Musselburgh Athletic. When the sides met in front of a bumper crowd at New Countess Park in September, the Seasiders overturned a half time deficit to win by two goals to one, leaving the Hi Hi’s wondering how they had lost, such had been their first half dominance. September turned out to be a difficult month for Scott Bonar’s side but there are signs that Haddington are back on form. They impressed onĀ  their last outing at league leaders Broxburn where they more than deserved a point. Team boss Bonar hopes to add Ross King to Saturdays squad. He has been out since early November and is nearing full fitness.

The spectators should see an interesting encounter!
