The Hi Hi’s are back in action on Saturday when they play Dundonald Bluebell in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup in Fife. This is the first of two successive games against the Fifers as the sides are scheduled to meet at Millfield the following Saturday, December 2nd, in a Premier Division match. There is a big incentive for the visitors to win this cup tie as the winners will have a home tie against county neighbours, Dunbar United.
Team boss Bonar will again be without long term injured players Mikey Robertson and Mark McGovern and also Ross King who picked up a knee injury in a recent match at Penicuik. Matches between these sides can be difficult to predict and last season the Hi Hi’s won in Fife with Dundonald gaining revenge at Millfield on the Groundhop weekend. Defender Keir Russell came through Tuesday’s friendly match against Whitehill and he will be in Saturday’s squad.
