Tranent Juniors visit Millfield on Saturday for the first time in a number of years, when they meet the Hi Hi’s in the second round of the Trade Radiators South Challenge Cup. The Belters are now plying their trade in the Lowland League having won the EOS Premier League last season. The Hi Hi’s, newly promoted to the Premier League, are still finding their feet at their new level, and the form book will point to a victory for the visitors who have made a good start to their debut in the fifth tier of Scottish football. Haddington have been somewhat crippled by an extensive injury list, and manager Scott Bonar was without no fewer than six players last Saturday when the Hi Hi’s lost 4 – 1 to Jeanfield Swifts in Perth. Both Ali Simpson and Guy McGarry are expected to return tomorrow but Zach Szemis, Dale O’Hara, Cammy Watson, and Shaun Hill are still some way away from full fitness. Once again a good crowd is expected and the Hi Hi’s are anticipating their biggest crowd of the season to date.
