Haddington entertained Tweedmouth Rangers in an Inter Conference game at Millfield last Saturday. Manager Joe Hamill made several changes to the side that won at Coldstream with local lad Aaron Congalton handed his debut. The home side dominated from the start and took the lead in the 10th minute when Michael Johnston, another local lad making his full home debut, turned in a low cross from Hutchison. Haddington could have had the game sewn up before the interval but wasted several good chances and had ‘keeper Cornet to thank when he tipped a long range shot onto the bar in the final action of the first half. Johnston doubled the lead early in the second half and then Harris converted a 25 yard free kick to extend the lead. Substitute Robbie King completed the scoring when the Tweedmouth goalkeeper allowed his shot to cross the line. A dominant display from the Hi Hi’s who move up to third in Conference A.

The East Lothian Foodbank were also beneficiaries with the club supporting the local charity on the day with both cash and food donations.
