The Hi Hi’s meet Crossgates Primrose for the second time in as many weeks when these sides compete for a semi final place in the EOS League Cup. This will be the last game of the season at Millfield as the winners will face either Whitburn Juniors or Preston Athletic away from home in the last four. The fact that Haddington have beaten Crossgates twice in the league will have no bearing on the outcome of this tie and both sides will be hoping to clinch a semi final place. The Hi Hi’s reached the last four of this competition last season only to lose 1 0 at home to Bo’ness Athletic. The most recent meeting between these sides took place at Crossgates last week when a double from Tom Davies in time added on gave the visitors a 4 1 win, but it had been a tight match until these late goals.
Manager Scott Bonar’s side opened the season at Millfield with a 3 1 win over the Fifers and all at Millfield would be happy with a similar scoreline tomorrow.
