Haddington entertain Sauchie Juniors at Millfield on Saturday in the third round of the League Cup. This match is a repeat of last years final which Sauchie edged 3-2 following extra time at Westfield Park, Denny. Both sides will be keen to get through with holders Sauchie wanting to extend their hold on the trophy.
These sides met in a league match at Beechwood Park a few weeks ago and it ended in a 1-1 draw. Sauchie have come through a difficult season with 15 points deducted and their long serving manager, Fraser Duncan, resigning. Recent results would indicate that they have weathered the storm and recent signing Connor Kelly has boosted their goal scoring.
Manager Scott Bonar would love to go far again in this seasons competition but will again be without both Gary Windram and Grant Rose. Supporters should note the earlier kick off of 2.00pm.
