The Hi Hi’s have been active in the transfer market this week with one player leaving Millfield and another joining the club. Defender Mikey Robertson joined Haddington from Peebles Rovers in the summer of 2023 but unfortunately injury has blighted his time with the club. An injury sustained in the Scottish Cup at St Andrews in September 2023 meant that Mikey was on the sidelines for most of last season. The club have accepted an offer from Edinburgh College and Mikey joins them with our best wishes.
Signing on at Millfield is striker Ryan Quinn, who was recently transfer listed by Penicuik Athletic. Ryan has impressed in his games against the Hi Hi’s and as soon as manager Scott Bonar heard that he was becoming available, the club moved quickly to secure his services. Ryan enjoyed his first training session with his new teammates at Whittingehame Drive last night and is looking forward to his time at Millfield. Welcome to the Hi Hi’s Ryan!
