The Hi Hi’s travelled to a foggy Eyemouth last Saturday aiming to make sure that the home side didn’t register their first league win of the season. Despite falling behind to a well executed goal in the second minute, Haddington romped to an 11 – 1 win, setting a club record of a ten goal winning margin in a competitive fixture.

Despite falling behind the visitors didn’t panic and played some good stuff and by the half hour mark, they were 4 – 1 ahead thanks to goals from King, Hill, Quinn and Cunningham. Early second half counters from Harris and Hill stretched the lead. There was a lull in the scoring until the final fifteen minutes when Haddington hit a further five goals through Chapman, Cunningham, Nicholson, Harris and an own goal from an unfortunate Eyemouth defender. The Hi Hi’s anticipate a much tougher challenge from Crossgates at Millfield this Saturday.
