The Hi Hi’s face a stern task on Saturday when East Superleague leaders Bonnyrigg Rose visit Millfield in the third round of the DJ Laing East of Scotland Cup. It’s almost 45 years to the day when Haddington last lifted this famous old trophy by beating Linlithgow Rose by one goal to nil in the final at Tynecastle. It would be a major upset if the Hi Hi’s were to reach the quarter finals but they did manage a 2 1 win over the Rose in a pre season friendly. This match is expected to attract a big crowd to Millfield – kick off is 2.30.
